1 - 2 | 1st couple advancing set and turn to face down (1st man right about, 1st lady left about), giving nearer hands turn outward from each other to finish back to back in the middle |
3 - 4 | 1st couple four slip steps down the middle. 2nd couple move up |
| 5 - 6 | 1st couple four slip steps down the middle. 2nd couple move up |
| 7 - 8 | 1st couple four slip steps up to the top to finish between 2nd couple |
| 9 - 12 | 1st and 2nd men turn each other left hand, while 1st and 2nd ladies turn each other right hand. 1st couple cross over to the opposite side (without giving hands) |
| 13 - 16 | 1st man and 3rd lady turn each other right hand, while 1st lady and 3rd man turn each other left hand to finish in 2nd place at the opposite side facing up (see fig. 1) |
